About the role
The planning team at Helly Hansen is responsible for connecting customer demand with supply decisions, enabling the business to deliver with greater agility while creating clearer alignment across Commercial, Product, Finance and Supply Chain within Helly Hansen. We are an integrated planning function with end-to-end ownership of forecasting, supply, and inventory processes for the whole company, serving as the central hub for alignment and decision-making.
The Allocation Planning team oversees strategic inventory deployment across channels, leads in-season allocation decisions, monitors performance KPIs, and resolves allocation exceptions. As an Allocation Analyst, you will play a key role in minimizing inventory levels and optimizing cash flow across the company. You will play a crucial part in deploying available inventory across channels, regions, and stores to balance sell-through, service level, and working capital efficiency. You will ensure that product allocation decisions are data-driven, timely, and aligned with business priorities - helping to maximize product availability and profitability across Helly Hansen’s global markets.

Key Responsibilities
Analytical support on allocation decisions based on sales trends, sell-through rates, demand shifts, and inventory availability to ensure optimal and data-driven inventory levels
Monitor in-season allocation performance by tracking fill rates, stock coverage, and sell-through across channels; recommend corrective actions where needed
Lead ad-hoc projects that supports and improves the overall inventory levels of the Business
Analyze and report allocation effectiveness through KPIs such as allocation accuracy, stock turn, coverage ratio, sell-through %, and unsatisfied demand
Support process improvements and system enhancements to automate rules, streamline workflows, and enhance reporting dashboards
Collaborate with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and Merchandising teams to ensure alignment on allocation priorities and product availability

Reports to: Senior Manager Allocation Planning
This position is a full-time employment located in Oslo, Norway.
What we are looking for
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field (Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar)
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in supply chain, operations, finance, consulting, or analytics - ideally within retail or consumer products
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Experience with data warehouses, SQL, and / or BI tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to dive deep to find answers to complex problems
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage, but not a requirement
A self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and passion for driving data-driven decisions
