About the role
We are hiring our first Brand & Communications Manager at Six Robotics, the person who will define how the company presents itself to the world. This role is about clarity, precision, and strong visual direction. You will shape the stories, tone, and identity that make Six Robotics stand out, and ensure everything we communicate reflects the same confidence and intentionality. From a bold social post to a polished press release, or from an internal launch to an international defence event, you will make sure every detail looks right and feels purposeful. As the architect of our narrative, you will set the tone for how Six Robotics is seen and understood by customers, partners, investors, and future colleagues.
Some days you will craft stories that attract exceptional talent or spark interest from investors. Other days you will translate complex technology into clear and compelling communication for defence audiences across Europe. Working closely with leadership, you will develop and execute the company’s brand and communications strategy, helping position Six Robotics as a credible and distinctive voice in the emerging defence tech landscape. We have some fundamentals in place, but the real work starts with you. This is a rare opportunity to build the foundations of a brand and define how a new defence technology company tells its story to the world, a story grounded in innovation, protecting what matters, and strengthening European resilience.

What you will do
Develop and execute a brand and communications strategy that makes Six Robotics stand out
Shape and grow our presence on LinkedIn through clear storytelling and strong visual content
Help position our CEO as a credible and engaging voice in the defence tech conversation
Produce and coordinate content across formats, including articles, short videos, press materials, and events
Ensure everything that leaves the building meets a high bar for clarity, quality, and brand consistency

Who you are
You care about details. Words, margins, tone, and visuals all matter to you. You work fast, iterate openly, and believe that strong ideas improve through collaboration. You are comfortable challenging others when something can be sharper, clearer, or more compelling.
You may not have built a brand in a defence technology company before, but you are ready to take ownership and figure it out.

To succeed in this role you bring
Exceptional writing and storytelling ability, with a portfolio that shows clarity, tone control, and versatility across formats such as social posts, articles, scripts, and press materials
Fluency in written and spoken Norwegian and English
A strong visual eye, able to direct or critique design, layout, and brand consistency
A proven record of leading brand or communication projects and delivering tangible results
Hands-on experience with tools such as Photoshop, Canva, Figma, or similar to create simple visuals

Security Clearance Requirement
All employees at Six Robotics are required to undergo a security clearance due to our close collaboration with the Norwegian Armed Forces. While prior clearance is not necessary, the clearance process will be initiated as part of onboarding.
