Mats Eikeland Mollestad

Mats is Tech & Data Lead at Kvant, responsible for developing the technology that helps Kvant make better use of data and optimise its operations. He builds products for both the research team and recruitment consultants, while also developing and managing the company’s tech stack. Before joining Kvant in 2026, Mats helped make AI a core part of Cheffelo, where he was Product Owner for the AI system responsible for selecting customers’ meal boxes – a process that had previously been handled manually. He also led the technological development of ML and AI platforms at both Cheffelo and Otovo, building on his meta-analysis at NTNU in Trondheim on why AI products fail. His experience spans scale-ups and startups across food, energy, e-learning, AI, and big data. At Kvant, Mats combines this technical expertise with a strong understanding of strategy and product development, focusing on building solutions that make both recruitment processes and the work of Kvant’s consultants more data-driven and efficient.
