About
NordicEPOD is building Norway’s next great industrial success story. We stand at the forefront of the technological revolution driving AI infrastructure across Europe and shaping the digital society of tomorrow. Our modular power units (EPODs) form the beating heart of data centers, powering the rapid global growth of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digital transformation. We deliver standardized, high-performance power systems that integrate UPS, switchgear, cooling, and monitoring technology – all developed with an uncompromising focus on sustainability, digitalization, and reliability.
From our new 12,000 m² factory in Sande, near Oslo, we can produce up to 350 EPOD units per year, powered by Eaton technology and fully integrated digital processes. Since our founding in 2022, our growth has been remarkable, reaching revenues of more than NOK 1.8 billion in 2024. As we expand internationally with a new factory in Portugal, our ambition is clear: to become the leading provider of modular power infrastructure for data centers across the EMEA region.
We are not just building products, we are building the technology of the future and the foundation for artificial intelligence. Our solutions deliver the power that fuels innovation, sustainability, and progress across a new digital Europe. That’s why we are now looking for forward-thinking and solution-oriented people to join us on this journey. At NordicEPOD, you’ll have the opportunity to shape a new industry, influence how data centers are built and operated, and play a key role in a company setting the benchmark for an entire sector. Today, we are 170 employees, but our journey has only just begun. Together, we’re building something big: for Norway, for Europe, and for the future.
Who are you?
NordicEPOD is growing rapidly, driven by strong demand from data center clients across Europe. To support this growth, we’re now seeking a Solution Architect who will take full ownership of the technical design process – from tender to delivered project.
You will define customer solutions that ensure technical excellence, efficiency, and scalability, translating complex requirements into complete, production-ready designs. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams, you’ll lead the multi-disciplinary design process across electrical, structural, mechanical, and HVAC disciplines. You’ll manage design clarifications, coordinate engineering inputs, and ensure that all solutions meet both customer expectations and NordicEPOD’s standards for quality and performance. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping how EPOD solutions are developed and standardized, driving continuous improvement and innovation across projects. Your ability to combine technical insight with cross-disciplinary collaboration will be a key success factor for both NordicEPOD and our customers.
We’re looking for a structured and driven engineer with strong design experience and a collaborative mindset. You thrive in complex technical environments, enjoy working across multiple disciplines, and take pride in transforming client needs into world-class engineering solutions. You communicate clearly, build strong relationships across teams and disciplines, and maintain a proactive, decisive, and solution-focused approach in your work.
If you’re curious, analytical, and eager to help shape the future of Europe’s data-center infrastructure, this is an opportunity to join us at the forefront of innovation.
